Q: What if I already have a Premium Training Peaks Account? A: Enjoy a 10% discount after registration if you plan on using your own Premium TP account.


Q: Is the training plan created for me personally? A: This is a small group training program designed to prepare athletes for a gran fondo event in 12 weeks. We offer personalized, 1:1 coaching here:  private coaching 


Q: Can beginner cyclists join this training? A: Highlands Gran Fondo has multiple distance options. We can help you make an appropriate selection for your fitness and skill level. Beginner riders may want to select one of the shorter distances. 


Q: What will the training be like? A: This program is based on Peloton classes, but can also be executed on other stationary bikes, indoor trainers, or your outdoor bike using files that you upload to your GPS-based bike computer.


Q: Kickoff call will be held Sunday, March 8th at 7pm ET on Zoom. All calls will be recorded and shared with teammates that can't make the live event. 


Q: What if I'm not able to attend the Highlands Gran Fondo? A: No Problem! The group training is focused on completing an endurance cycling event with a climbing profile. We'll host a virtual fondo on the same day (June 7th) for those that would like to participate.

A Note From ​Coach Lorri: 

Club Wilpers is a small group training atmosphere where riders learn new skills, work hard, and grow with other club members, while being supported and guided by the expertise of a Team Wilpers Coach. In addition to preparing you for a June Gran Fondo event, my goal is to help build a community of riders who will support each other, challenge themselves, and succeed together. While fitness is our goal, friendship and fun are also an important aspect of this program. 

This 12-week gran fondo training program has been thoughtfully designed to develop your foundation as well as fitness, specific to a hilly endurance cycling event. In addition to your on-the-bike training, I've curated a program of strength, mobility, and flexibility for cyclists, to compliment your daily workouts.
